5 healthy habits to end the year as a healthier you

Four months until saying adios to 2024. Here are 5 simple habits that will help you start, continue, and maintain your health journey through 12/31/2024!

  1. Buffer a minimum of 15 minutes to move every day of the week.
    1. Go up and down the stairs
    2. Walk in your hallway
    3. Go out for a walk with your dog
    4. Get on your favorite YouTube routine
    5. Pump those muscles at your favorite gym (home or otherwise)
  2. Every weekend, buffer time for one of your most favorite activities that you do not do during the weekdays.
  3. For everything you do, keep your stress ball handy. This can be a stress-buster TV series, your listening hero (could be your partner, spouse, a friend, a family member, or your child). You get it. Don’t let stress get to you; release it every single day!
  4. Find a morning and nighttime routine that truly makes you feel energetic and focused and also look good. Be honest and be brave enough to change your routines!
  5. Last and most importantly, humor yourself daily! Laugh at least 10-15 minutes daily, and I don’t have to tell you how to find that for yourself. Laughter has physical, mental, and social benefits, and the list of benefits is way too long.
